How come prices for a single stick 8Gb DDR3 are too expensive?

4Gb DDR3 cost around 1k
8Gb DDR3 cost around 3k

if 4Gb DDR3 = 1000php+

^ if u need a pc set-up for multi task, rendering, video editing, etc - u need a mobo with 4 slots or more for RAM para 4x4gb (16gb ). if ur motherboard only got 2 slots then 8gb single sticks will come in handy. just image 4x8gb
