Mga guys, I'm saving to buy a new laptop. What can you suggest man? If I've had enough money, I would have preferred a MAC but since dugay pa before ko maka save to buy a Mac, so I'll buy lang sa a PC/Linux based laptop.

Unsa nga brand inyo ma suggest and WHY? Pls. add like why you recommend it, it's quality, lifespan, etc....

I have bought about 9 now. non have ever failed me. cge lang ko hand down to cousins when i have a new one.

For me, asus with dedicated VC then naa pa 2 year worldwide warranty (depende sa imong napalit). Naa ko Ausu u50 series, mag 2 years na, still fighting gihapon. Naa sad ko old Gateway T-16 series, okay ra man sad. Currently, latest nako is Samsung NP-QX411 with dedicated VC gihapon. I also have an old Macbook A1181.Still fighting gihapon, kaso patay na ang batt, will only work if plugged. Now, I am planning to get an Ultrabook, maybe samsung or Asus, for work para gaan.

By the way OP, depende ra jud na sa pag-gamit nimo. Last April, I bought a laptop para sa ako pag-umangkon, guba dayun ang screen, 2 weeks ra. Maybe negligence or whatever.

first laptop nako ASUS still working ghpon karon, no problems jd, my sister is still using it now. installan daun ug ubuntu, aw payts na kaayo..

Go with Mac bro... If you can try the new MacBook pro RETINA you will be amazed. Super fast, stunning display and comes with great OSX Mountain Lion. I've been long long windows user but after the switch to Mac I will never ever think of going back.

I know budget wise kinahanglan jud tiguman ang mac. Pro as a start I prefer VAIO or ASUS lang usa. Ayaw kaayo anang Samsung, Acer or Toshiba. Agree ko ni @junmar4 ug @DrSmileDMD. This is just my view, others may prefer other brands because of their experience with it but at the end of the day it still falls into your choice that works for you. Kana imo jud maganahan.

But later on bro if you will have enough budget award yourself with a MAC. Lahi jud if maka own ka ug mac.
