Default Android 4.1 Jelly Bean coming this month

So I hear this carries a lot of improvements vs the Gingerbread 4.0

Anybody try updating to 4.1 already? I have a Galaxy Nexus and was wondering whether or not I should wait for my phone to update automatically or do a manual flash...

    Whatchathink guys?

mine's already updated to jelly bean. very worth upgrade. fast and lag-free. some new features that i like are the new notification drop down, the text to speech ( or speech to text whatever you call it) listens to your voice and convert it into text. no need of to type and no need of an internet connection. faster booting. and simple but nice boot screen. hehehe

Samsung Galaxy Nexus. Came with Android ICS and a speech to text function na. Apart from the aesthetic changes and speed improvements it doesn't look like it fixed some of the issues I had with my phone. Like the fact that I can't txt a group of contacts using the default messenger google installed, so I had to DL a 3rd party messenger like GoSMS.

Google has more preference with GNEX because the stock ICS package with the phone is the stock and raw ICS minus the (touchwiz)TW that Sammy usually incorporates on most of their devices(including the S3). So, it's easily no doubt Google's pet phone when it comes to new firmware releases they have introduced in the market.

Will Gnex be the first phone to receive the Jelly Bean update? I had read somewhere in the net that Gnex is banned in the US, is this the reason why they made the Jelly Bean?

My GNex has been running on JB since last weekend.
I have to admit, mas paspas jud compared sa ICS.
