You're right, the concept of the 50 Shades Trilogy is inspiring but whatever is in the book leaves a bad taste on your palate that you just can't shake off. It's not because of erotica, which I love to read by the way, but how it was written.

I know people will go gaga over it's impending big screen adaptation. Ugh!

I didn't get to finish the Trilogy; all I needed was to read the 1st book to make me drop it like hot potato. I was curious really why a fan fiction that evolved into a book (others vehemently say it's NOT based on a Twilight fan fic) blasted its way to the top of NY Times Bestseller list. Curiosity got the better of me. It wasn't worth my time or my money.

Btw, I like the tone of your write-up. It's light, conversational, and funny. hehe
