Are Gigabyte Motherboards worth the money still?

I was just wondering, are Gigabyte motherboards still worth the money to invest in? especially for a Z77 system ksi I saw these posts saying that Gigabyte has been cutting costs here and there. here's a link to an article:

gigabyte claimed that "they are being attacked by our competitors with pictures that are essentially meaningless"

and "their boards have an advanced power design that includes an industry-leading digital PWM and a 2x copper PCB that is exclusive to Gigabyte"

should there be any issues with overclocking on gigabyte z77 boards then that should have been out already sa forums or even review websites

been using gigabyte for the past 6 years,,its good motherboard,,, i really like todays gigabytes motherboard, black,,, i dont like mobo with lots of color,, its like "fruit salad". hehehehe

much preferred and more durable ang gigabyte for than most mobo out there. had lot of clients nga gigabyte ang mobo from p4 to the latest mobo pero wa man makasuway encounter problem sa mobo nila.

Ah ganun ba sir, I'm curious tho, I never really found an extensive explanation on what that 'advanced power management' system. They just say it's there but didn't really bother to say how it works. At least a gist of it.

Advanced power management really boils down to more VRMs employed in gigabyte motherboards where competitors offer less in the same price range..
