iTunes has done the backup for your iPhone indeed. You only need to restore from the iPhone backup file (SQlitedb file).
The folder is located here:
Windows Vista and Windows 7:\Users\(username)\AppData\Roaming\Apple Computer\MobileSync\Backup\
