Organized as an annual intensive marketing drive for Danao tourism, this year’s Danao Revolutions, now on its second year iteration, aims to be an even bigger event compared to last year’s, with new and unique feature activities, larger press coverage, as well as new industry and corporate sponsorships.

Rebel Trails Duathlon
The major race components– mountain bike cross-country (MTB XC), and trail running, will be unified as a duathlon event (Run-Bike-Run), with a relay option wherein 2-man teams can participate with one competing in the MTB XC, and the other, competing at the Trail Run.
------------------Danao Outdoor Music Festival, July 8, 2012
This year’s music will be rebranded as “Danao Misty River Music Festival” as it will be held at the vicinity of the Wahig River (Wahig River Lodge, Poblacion, Danao, Bohol). Joey Ayala and Lolita Carbon will reprise their lead performance in last year’s music festival, fronted by various Bohol local bands, as well as Danao’s pride – Patrileon De Kombate.

------------------Mad Scrambler River Race 3k , July 8, 2012
The North Face Mad Scrambler River Race is a special, limited event, offered to elite athletes only. An experimental race at best, the Mad Scrambler’s unique aspect of opening options to the racer to either run, climb, swim, or as the moniker suggests – scramble, in getting to the finish line, may establish a whole new style of outdoor/ trail competition.
------------------Assault on Dagohoy Hill (Tactical Paintball Wargames), July 7-8, 2012 (registration closed)
Assault on Dagohoy Hill (Tactical Paintball Wargames) will pay tribute to the proud history of Dagohoy’s military operations in Danao. Competing teams will attempt on achieving what the Spanish colonial forces failed to do for 86 longs years – capture Dagohoy’s hillfort on the Wahig river gorge. To play the part of Dagohoy’s resistance fighters who will be defending the hill against the day-long onslaught are the cream-of-the-crop of the Philippine Army– Special Forces.
