since gipa.sign/gipapirma siya, meaning requirement na para marelease ang kwarta. im assuming ang kwarta gikan na sa laing lugar nya imail or deliver sa ilang company? from manila or sa gawas?

para nako dapat iconsult niya sa taw nga nagpapirma niya asa na ang kwarta and ngano nalangay. let's pretend iya nang na inquire. next move dapat iescalate sa higher na position. im sure moana na iyang manager na delayed or wala pa maabot ang check. gamita ni reason para maescalate ang issue. ingna lang moinquire ka. kung moana gani sila na nadeliver na, meaning gibulsa nato. if wala nay trust imong bro sa company, let him find another job. lisod nang hasta kauban or higher position niya mangikik og kwarta.

binuang man na. if pirma cya for petty cash voucher dapat naa actual cash corresponding to the amount indicated on the voucher. dapat ereport sa imo bro kana an wrong behavior to someone higher sa management. signing a cash voucher with no cash received defeats the internal control of having petty cash. worse case scenario, pag e audit nang tig pa pirma sa imo bro ug voucher basin ma-among cya.

basic ruling: do not sign any documents not unless the money/check is present at the time of signing. In times like this, maglisud ka gukod nila kay nipirma man ka.. so it's already an understanding nareciv na nimo.

Petty Cash fund is supposed to be set aside for petty operational expenses. The evidence that cash is taken out from the fund is a duly accomplished Petty Cash Voucher with corresponding attachment/s. By signing in the received/acknowledgement portion would mean actual receipt of cash indicated therein. Hence, there must be a problem in the system as you mentioned that needs to be flagged to proper authorities (e.g. Management or Internal Audit).
