I tried it but it's not for my taste gyud.. it's unique, hell, it's so different from MMOs out there pero I find it kinda slow and boring, the graphics are nice, easily the best looking space themed game out there..

But it's too hardcore for me.. hehehe.. seems like I'm more into fantasy themed RPGs man gud.. but for those who are tired of the same old MMOs and who were wishing for that Wing Commander MMO that never was realized, this ones for you.. but sa katong naanad ug Ragna, GW, WOW, ma shock mo ane..

sa pagkakaron, nagduwa ko sa "2moons" CLOSED BETA phases. nindot ni nga game kay modified DEKARON version ni siya, catered for the western players gyud. pero kung gusto ninyo ug nindot ug gameplay, try ninyo ang VANGUARD, mas nindot ni sya kay sa WOW.

PS: VANGUARD is P2P, you have to preorder the package before you can play...

Yup Sci-Fi gyud iya style and there are a few things I like about it:

-just one world, one server
-there's no end game to speak off, no level grinding, its skill based
-many many professions in Eve, just to name a few, miner, trader, producer, mission runner, pirating (yup pirating lol), hauler, mercenary etc...
-99% of the item is Player based, its a player driven economy, story etc...
-you can exchange your ISK(in game money) for game cards (time cards like 30days, 90days) legally, in fact I'm in the point right now that i don't have to pay real money to play after just 2-3 months..
-excellent in game support, the Rookie channel in my first month greatly helped me in the game
-excellent support from the publisher, they even have dev blogs which are updated regularly
-free expansions, it has come a long way since 2003

lol Vanguard better than wow ?.. do i even have to bother how wrong you are ? No Offense but Vanguard ain't better than wow at all, but it can compare to Eve Online & Eq2 and such.

Oh yes, this game was the so called "WOW Killer" just like Guild Wars, and that failed pretty much.

You say its old, and its not good to compare old games with new games okay, lets try

World of Warcraft Burning Crusade ( the new expansion blizzard released at January 16, 2007 ) so thats like earlier then Vanguard, Reviews:

Hands down WOW > Vanguard.

And most people say WOW sucks because its expensive without even try the game, so figure that one yourselves thats really a great job

I have been playing EVE since 2003. No dull moment here. Yes it's a bit complicated at first but as skills grow so does the fun.

It's a spreadsheet simulator, just like real life. We also have our own radio station. http://www.eve-radio.com. We have yearly convention in Iceland and EVE parties around the world.

There you have Missions of your choice, there's manufacturing, research and development, mining, bountys. We have DREADNOUGHTS, CARRIERS, TITANS, Battleships, cruisers and frigates. We have cloacking, command and assult ships. There are no lvl 66 monsters in this game but Pirates and rats you can kill for thier bounty. There are players that have bountys on thier heads that you can chase around. Player vs Player (PVP) is the name of the game. You need to have balls to play this game tho. Nyahahaha

Wow is ok for a while but then it gets monotonous just like Earth and Beyond. Why giggle after killing a monster? Why not face and destroy another geek behind an account. LOL

In EVE you form corporations and alliances with other corps. You continualy grow in Eve. You can't say "Oh Im lvl 50 thats it for me. it does get boring.

In eve you dont have to spend money to pay for you gaming every month. We have what we call GTC (game time card) which you can buy with your ISK (eve currency).

Give it a shot. We have a Pinoy chat room in game do check us out. Go through tutorial first to cover the basics after that we in the chat channel will gladly helpout. :mrgreen:

btw those who are thinking of trying the game, join the PINOY channel, we are there also during the character gen process, feel free to post questions here, basically there are 4 races:

Amarr - laser weapon users, Empire structure
Minmatar - former slaves to the Amarrian, projectile weapon users, had previous war with the Amarrians
Gallente - the most democratic race of all, drone users
Caldari - missile users, had war with the Gallente over the form of government, eventually split with the Gallente Federation..

but it doesn't mean if you are Amarr you can fly a Caldari ship, its just faster to train Amarr coz at the start you arlready have Amarr ship skills...etc
