    Default I Love Korea (Video)

I visited South Korea last April 2012 and these are some of the clips which I took during my trip and journey round the country. I spent five days from April 20 to April 25, 2012 during my stay in Seoul. I took the budget airline, Cebu Pacific A320 from Cebu, Philippines to Incheon, Seoul, South Korea.

The video showcases numerous clips from my exciting adventure around South Korea. These mostly include clips from different categories such as culture, history, traditions, food, delicacies, the modern lifestyle and technology.

This video was submitted to the "I Love Korea" contest of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade of the Republic of Korea.

    Here's the video:

Your comments and thoughts are most appreciated guys!

The Korean culture makes is so interesting. hmmm.. The food yes, got to try it all if budget permits us.. The infrastructure is kinda like Hong Kong the MTR's, Airport and buildings is similar but i wonder if they too had double-decker buses?

We managed to get a good offer in regards to the flight. The round-trip flight only cost us P13,000 when it is usually around P22,000 and above. We flew with Cebu Pacific and availed of their promo. Nevertheless, in terms of food budget, you can survive with P600 per person daily. That includes some convenience store food (7/11, Family Mart or GS25), two meals at low/medium end eatery.

In regards to infrastructure, buildings are somewhat similar to Hong Kong and Taipei, however, the roads are a lot wider similar to the wide Moscow avenues that you see on TV travel programs. And no they don't have double-decker buses. You can only find those in countries who were mainly colonized by the British (Hong Kong, Singapore, India) or on the New York bus tours.

South Korea is definitely worth the visit. However, be prepared when visiting the country. Make sure you got a solid itinerary in order to visit numerous attractions. And I suggest you visit the DMZ (border between North and South Korea). We were lucky enough to see the North Korean soldiers.

Well, the deadline of the video contest is today, May 20. And I did take pictures of the Cherry Blossoms. They were all over Seoul. And you can actually check out the Cherry Blossoms @ 43 seconds. I have other pictures from my Taiwan trip last March in which the Cherry Blossoms were out and about.

Thank you for your kind words! I think it's a dream destination for most folks. You can get some pretty good deals with Cebu Pacific. I remember seeing one promo where it was 90% off on a flight. You got to keep your eyes open for those awesome promos! Thanks again!
