Where can we find a good and safe birthing center in Cebu?

I'm giving birth in 4 months and I'm planning to give birth at Maternity Hospital. A Birthing Center is also an option because I can feel my OB wants me to go under the knife. I want to save on hospital charges so I need your suggestions. Thanks!

at visayas community medical center. its very good. I gave birth their twice.. and i am very satisfied especially with my OBgyne who is very help driven not money driven.

I suggest, basta bata na gani hisgotan, labi na inyong anak. Do not save or spend less over quality services.

Okay raman pod Cebu Doctors, dinha man gepanganak ako mga pag umangkon. Pag ward lang gud then normal delivery.

pwede raman pud na pa cheap-cheap pero mas maayo ug nagpa package deal lang unta ka sa cebu doc opd, one month during pregnancy para maka-save jud ka sa bill, ok man pud ang serbisyo sa ward sa cebudoc maternity.

When you say your OB wanted you to go under the knife, do you mean she suggested a C-section? There must be a reason for that. Better consult first. As for birthing center, naka duty ko sauna kanang naa sa Gorordo its behind QC Pavillion. Good luck and have a safe pregnancy TS

Thanks for your replies Scott Bernard, edoy and and sushikandi. Na-CS man gud ko with my first pregnancy (coz nag popo na ang baby) but according to my Operative Report, OK ra man mag Vaginal Birth ko this time as long as wala complications. But then since na- CS ko before, murag ganahan akong OB na i-CS gihapon ko. I don't want to undergo unnecessary operation and I'm trying to have a healthy pregnancy so I will deliver the baby the natural way.

That is why, I'm asking kung asa ang nice na birthing center coz I heard, hanas jud daw na cila mag paanak and they will really take care of you. But of course, I don't mind giving birth man pud sa hospital (as long as normal lang unta). I'm just making the birthing center as an option for now.

consult na lang lain doc, naa jud na reason ngano nagsuggest imo OB ana. for safety purposes lang. find a way na lang para sa expenses dili kay icut... just a tot!!! lolz
