In a logical manoeuvre on its pricing regime, Intel has just shaven pricing down, albeit only slightly, on two of its beloved previous-generation Sandy Bridge Core i7 CPUs - namely the Core i7-2600K and Core i7-2700K.The cuts certainly aren't as significant as many would have hoped, but a saving is a saving and in this case with Ivy Bridge now fired out the gate the cuts help the two models retain their price/performance ratio. The Core i7-2600K has taken a fall of about 10€ ($13 US), now sitting at 255 to 260€. Although contrary to the current exchange rate, Amazon US has it listed at just $308.98 US at the time of writing.Meanwhile, the Core i7-2700K sees a shaving of about 15€, now costing around 275€ which works out to $364 US at this time. However, Amazon also has it listed lower at just $329.49 US right now.Source: Cowcotland
