Default AOC i2353Ph vs Samsung PX2370

I'm planning to replace my Samsung SA22A300 LED monitor pero dili ko ka decide which of the two. I was hoping to get some recommendations.

I use the PC 12-14 hours per day for work and an 2-3 hours for gaming (2k12, Rage, BF3).. Ask tana ko if which monitor will suite my needs better. I seem to have an issue with the slight washed out colors sa LED monitors since mas gi prefer nako akong old Samsung P2050 kay sa aning SA300..

Suggestions will be much appreciated. I'm sure daghan pd galibog ani na gamers dni sa istorya..

ang AOC i2353PH uses IPS Panel ( IPS panel - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia ), better viewing angles, better color reproduction, better overall visual performance over Samsung PX2370, which uses TN Panels ( TFT LCD - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia ).

Advantages of TN Panels over IPS are faster response time and they're cheaper.

Always go for IPS, like the iPad/iPhone/Galaxy Tab 10.1 and other Galaxy Tabs.

I'm currently using LG IPS236V, same2 ra cla ug price sa AOC i2353PH and Samsung PX2370.

for gaming purposes, the ideal would be 2ms response time and atleast a frequency of 75hz for vertical and horizontal..

if i2353Ph is the same wth i2353Fh (Razor X), then my vote goes for it..
IPS panels generally have 5ms response time or higher. but it doesnt matter that much.
the difference between 2ms and 5ms is not visible to the naked eye..
the advantages you get with IPS panels overshadows their disadvantages..

in your case though, since you will be using your monitor for extended hours, a monitor with lower power consumption suits best. for that case, the px2370 is better. 35w (AOC) vs 25w (Samsung)

the difference of power is not really important. 10watts is not that much.

I'm after lower eyestrain without compromising the gaming performance... for me, medjo hayagan ra ko aning SA300 LED and the colors are a bit "meh".

naay naka try na gni ug FPS gaming with a IPS or eIPS monitor?

I've had ZERO issues with gaming on my Dell U2711... Ghosting is nonexistant on it while playing DotA2 and Battlefield 3.

Power Consumption isn't an issue either, If you enjoy great Color reproduction and viewing angles, IPS is the way to go! (Unless PLS Monitors are now viable, same screen on the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1, which IMHO is the best non OLED display.)
