LF: VTECH wireless / cordless phone battery replacement ?

Can anyone please help me find a place here in Cebu who can fix cordless phones?
I tried Airtouch in SM but they can't fix it...

I got new batteries for it but the problem is that it is not charging...
The screen reads: NEEDS RECHARGING and the time is blinking too...
so I'm guessing the base is causing the problem...

TRy daw sa AC/DC along manalili st. man tingali na sya....anha man ko paayo basta dili nako madala ug ayo akong ayohonon.
pangutan-a lang sila pila ilang service charge for this particular item...kon OK ka naay koy barely used nga wireless / answering machine with
3 voice mails (color black) am selling it for 2K ra, wala gyud ni nako nagamit diha sa pinas...

ako cuzin ni suggest pod sa ac/dc in sanciangko fronting GV towers... unya ako pa adtoon
then naa sad ni suggest adto daw sa may e-maill, tapad sa caltex station diha
then Jeftronics pod...

what man brand imo wireless?

AC/DC is not in sanciangko....

its the street after gaisano metro colon..... actually behind gaisano metro colon is a fruit and food street.... then there is happy mart.. the street after happy mart that is where AC/DC is.

ang problem gyud ani kay sa US mani ang Vtech....

the parts might be a little hard to find....

wala nako gi pa ayo because it would be difficult since it came from the US..... with no counterpart brand here in Asia...

so before buying things from the US make sure you there is a brand also here...

like panasonic....

In case walay mo sukol ug ayo.... There is a small electronic repair shop in banawa after shell gasoline station. Alex is the owner and electrician. You can let him try....

follow-up... ok na ang phone.. karon.. asa kaha ta maka palit ug battery kay ang problem napod kay ang battery dili na mo charge...

specifically V-Tech 80-5074-00/BAT_SBA Battery

or kaning CPH-403D NiMH 3.6V 600mAh or STB122 NiCd 3.6V 350 mAh

called airtouch, junrex, electroworld, and audionet but they don't have batteries for cordless phones...

dili ko ganahan palit anang mga baratohon nga batts kay ni ingon ang repair shop nga ako gi adto daghan kaayo gi uli nila nga batteries kay puros FAKE... ngek!

Any suggestions?

better look for something compatible...

and i found one in WGC yesterday... it's panasonic.. so tried it



seems to work, nag charge man pod BUT now when i turn the phone on, hmmmm.. walay dial tone... ngek

more trouble than its worth huh? makes you wanna just buy a new one...hehehe...

try reconnecting the cord to the telephone connector (make sure ok ang cord and telephone connector basin wala gyud dialtone to begin with...test it with ordiary phone)
then make sure the power supply on the base station is ok.
check if there is a reset button on the handset and base station to establish connection to the base station (get the proper chanel and all) in most units, you just need to attach handset sa basestation (charging) for a few moments so that the base station and handset can talk to each other, then start using it na dayon.
