yep she was... but her citizenship is now changed to American coz she married an American man...
her dad, Lhuillier, is French.. but her mom is Filipina. she was born and raised here.. so yeah...

yeah...I heard so much about this designer. She designed Lea Salonga's bridal gown right? She started off with bridal gowns and moved on to evening wear.

she has her beaded bags on display sa shangrila, mactan. nice kaau.
i once met a woman who does some of her embroidery & beadworks. most of which are done in cebu diay and they have it shipped to the US...

I am proud of her being a FIlipina and once a Cebuano local but not the Lhuillier operations in Cebu . Nguros na lang ko daan .

She's definitely one to be proud of. I went to see her website www.moniquelhuillier.com and I wish I could afford her gowns cuz they're to die for!
