barato ra sa mama margaret centre atbang sa lourdes parish punta.
asa dapit imo location? i can refer to you a friend of mine who plays the violin and teaches how to play the instrument also.
Talamban bro. pila man sad?
Silingan ra ta boss. Hahaha
I used to take lessons but now self study nako sa violin and I do part time teaching sa akong mga friends. My school was at Asian Academy of Music sa Raintree Mall pero nagpahome school ko so I don't go there that much except kung magrehearsals para sa recitals.
1. The violin size will depend on your body structure (usually by age). I started out with 1/2, moved to 3/4 and finally to 1 (otherwise known as 1 whole or 4/4). If your age is 12 above, better use the 4/4 violin para maanad ka.
2. Violins have different pitches. Mine's a suprano and a tenor.
3. Violins have different types. I dont know how they are categorized pero mine's a classical and electric/normal violin.
If you plan to buy a violin, buy at JB's Music sa SM, it comes with a free tuning na everytime you go there. The most common brands would be Cremona and Fernando. If you want a decent sounding violin, buy a Fernando (around 3-6k) or better yet a Hofner ( around 6-12k). If you want a master level violin, you need around 50k to buy one.
But a decent sounding violin always depends on the quality of the strings. I prefer the Dominants and the Pirastro but those strings are becoming more and more expensive. *sigh*
And for the rosin, I use the AB, Hill rosin and sometimes Jade but they're somewhat hard to find here in Philippines so I just use the ones that are available in the market.
Hope I helped.![]()
