Default Wat do u think? AsRock or Asus?

mga masters wat do u think nga mas nindot i combo sa Intel i5 2500k, 8G RAM and GTX460. i'm choosing between this MB:(purpose rendering, CAD software and slight gaming: Battle Field 3, Call Of Duty 4, NBA2k12, Need For Speed)

    AsRock Pro3 Gen3, AsRock Extreme 3 Gen 3, Asus P8Z68 V-Le, Asus P8Z68 V/Gen3

    - kung mag AsRock ko mas cheaper compared to Asus? Ngnu mas barato man ang AsRock compared to Asus? asay mas reliable between Asus and AsRock? no plans to overclock and no plans upgrade for years to come except sa video card.

    - kung mag AsRock Pro3 Gen3 dili sad pwede ma SLI or CrossFire. planu nko in da future mag 2 ka videocard.

-asa pd mas maau ani nga RAM Corsair Vengeance CL9 or Kingston HyperX mas cheaper man gud ang Kingston

    - ako sad g limit ang budget to 25k. mao ni ako specs plano paliton except sa VideoCard:
    Intel Core i5 2500k
    MB undecided between sa 4
Kingston HyperX or Corsair Vengeance CL9
    CoolerMasters Extreme 500watts
    WD Blue 250G Sata 3 (x2)

    total 28K

I would suggest get the ROCK SOLID! been using ASUS for so many years bro and satisfied with its durability, performance and stability and DESIGN. Get the Z68 series or better wait for the ivy bridge this summer and get the Z77-Based Motherboard from ASUS.

I'm an owner and user of an Asrock Z68 Extreme4 Gen3, bro. So far I am very much satisfied with its performance. I use it mainly for After Effects rendering and slight gaming. I too was an Asus fan boy. I've had 2 Asus motherboards for my previous core2duo rigs and they're still kicking until now. The reason I switched to Asrock this time with my i7 is because of its price coupled with good reviews and feedback. The board's layout and design is also pretty. Also, during that time (last year), it's the only model with an onboard USB 3.0 slots and a free USB 3.0 front panel at a cheaper price compared to Asus' or Gigabyte's mobo with the same features. For me, you'll never go wrong with Asrock as long as you choose their mid-high end mobos. Naka-save pa ka. You might want to check their fatality series.

As to your question as to why Asrock is cheaper than Asus.... I think it's all about branding and fan base targets. I'm not sure if Asrock is still under Asus up to now but as as the name suggests, AsRock— Asus Rocks!

That is why we have Talk'NText/Amp/Red Mobile under Smart and Touch Mobile for Globe. They're all in the same network but in different brand names and fan base targets.

Oh, here's a good read about AsRock, bro.

ASRock was originally spun off from Asus in 2002 in order to compete with companies like Foxconn for the commodity OEM market. Since then, ASRock has also gained momentum in the DIY sector and plans for moving the company upstream began in 2007 following a successful IPO on the Taiwan Stock Exchange.[1]

ASRock has garnered a reputation for good value (cost/performance) from tech websites,[2] including awards and recommendations for an array of products.[3][4]

ASRock sold eight million motherboards in 2011, compared with ECS and MSI who sold seven million apiece. The figures, which are quoted over on DigiTimes, put ASRock in third place behind Asustek and Gigabyte. This is a significant improvement over the company's showing in 2009, with 2010's figures pushing ASRock ahead of both MSI and ECS.

ASRock is currently owned by Pegatron Corporation.

Sakto si vin, TS. kung asrock ka, maka save ka ug 2K above depende sa model nga imong napili-an. Dako na kaayo na para mapuno sa imong budget for other parts like PSU and GPU.

Decided naka anang CM nimo nga PSU, bro? Why not try Silverstone or Corsair.
