Just Respect, why make such big fuzz?

Scene: Staff House

Issue: Respect

Scenario: I ended my day shift and went ahead to the staff house. I opened the door silently knowing that someone is sleeping because they are on night shift. There are times when i was asleep, they would talk very loud. I tried to hold on to this annoyance till one day, i was full, full of the bitterness that they dont know how to respect someone who is sleeping. I mean, should i shout at them and tell them that they are too loud?

Today, i manage to post a note on the wall stating " Learn to respect when someone is sleeping ", since im not a vocal type of a person. This afternoon, i saw the wall post of one of my roomates stating " Kaila ka HILAS na tao? ", they are referring to me. And some other comments and blah blah blah.

For me, its just simple, learn to respect and they try to make this small issue BIG. Am i doing it wrong? BTW, the note was just inside the room, like a private note and it was not posted outside for everyone to see.

Urrghh, comments please.

why not tell them personally? i'd do that if i was on your shoe..

they might have took it as an insult since you wrote it on a note instead of telling them FACE to FACE. imho.

you can always use ear plugs and / or some low music inside your bedroom just right beside you to dampen any loud noises coming from unscrupulous board mates....this is much better solution than having a cold relationship with any body your living with in your staff house.

TS..in an IDEAL world RESPECT is so easy to find but in the REAL world, it is better to master UNDERSTANDING..musunod ra ang respect ana TS.

seriously, although you're intention is good pero mura slightly nerve-tickling sa dang imong gi-post nga "Learn to respect when someone is sleeping"

the best to do is to explain to them what you mean by your post diplomatically, kung mahimo gani jokingly manner mas maayo... for sure makasabot na sila kay ni hangyo naman ka, kung dili gani aw balhin lain kwarto kung pwede

TS, adto nalng complain sa inyo HR.(Ambot lang kung ingon ana ba ang systema sa mga BPO) basin pwede sila makapatuyok og Memo about anang mga sabaan..para nako sakto man sad imo gibuhat. but unsaon taman nga naa man juy mga gagmay og otok..

If gi take nila negatively imung message means nga wala silay respito nimu, so ang angay sa mga tawo nga sama ana is patilawun if unsa imu na feel. Ipatilaw nila if sila maoy dili respitohon. Wala mawala nimu kay sila may nag una.

Ang reality man gud sa kalibutan is di tanan tawo pariha nimu kamaayu ug di tanan tawo mausab nimu pinaagi sa pagpaubos. Sometimes war is needed to have Peace.
