Allow me to share the HTPC set-up for my daughter on its barebone condition as of the moment... simple ra kaayo ni sya na set-up...

Processor: Intel Pentium D 925
HSF: Deep Cool Alpha 30
Mobo: Asus P5KPL-AM
TV card: Avermedia PCI
Memory: Kingston 4GB (2x2GB)
GPU: Asus EAH5450 Silent (256 MB DDR3... expandable to 512 through the system memory... thus HM512M was shown on the box... it means HyperMemory (AMD's technology)...
HDD: WD Blue 120GB
DVD drive: Pioneer 18X
PSU: SAMA 330W...
Case: SAMA... used nako from the MoDT... hehehe...
Case fans... 2x120 mm... 1 CoolMax and 1 generic w/ LED lighting
Monitor: i'll choose between 32" & 42" LED backlit dha sa GI puhon... depende sa swak sa size sa sala pa ni

update on the GPU (Asus EAH5450)...

wala man stock ang seller for the Asus EAH6450 1GB DDR3... ang naa ra kay Asus EAH5450 512MB DDR3 ra... hatag lang ko ug go signal nya to ship the unit. priced at 194 rmb plus 15 rmb shipment... 209 rmb ra total ang damage... around 1.4K php... siguro, ok ra ni... abot to dri sa office by wednesday. pila kaha ni dha sa atoa para maka benchmark ko?

received the 4 GB (2x2 GB) Kingston DDR2 800 rams... bought the pair on one of the online shops here in Shanghai.



then akoang gi-verify ang modules through Kingston site verification kay daghan man copycats for their products dri sa main land... and other brands for that matter... akoang gi siguro kay authentic man ang pag baligya sa seller as well as authentic product ang price... confirmed na authentic ang modules. the seller is saying the truth... bayad ko ron taod2x...

yes bro had already completed my assignment. had already purchased aa Asus EAH5450 Silent GPU last monday... and it will arrive today. maybe later in the afternoon... this is again an old technology but will serve my need. ang naka nindot ani kay < 20W ra ni sya at full load on HD movies... mao ni ang reason wala ko mag palit ug lain PSU kay magamit ra ni nko ang SAMA 330W...

the GPU (Asus EAH5450 256 MB DDR3 expandable to 512 through the system mem... "HM"... HyperMemory was implemented on this GPU) arrived before lunch time... allow me to share some pics... this will free up the CPU (Pentium D 925) during watching 1080P movies...
