Title: Cashier/Restobar attendant Reports to: Owner(s)/Operations ManagerBased at: Salvador Extension, Labangon Cebu CityI. Job purpose:The Cashier/Restobar Attendant is responsible for performing a variety of duties within a fast food/snack bar establishment which may include completing customer transactions, cleaning the food or stock areas, assisting in the kitchen area, and maintaining inventory; performs all other responsibilities as directed by the business or as assigned by management. II. Key responsibilities and accountabilities:• Greets customers and takes food order; provides information about menus; looks for opportunity to "up-sell" products. • Manages the cash/box register and receives payment from customer in cash, accurately counts and provides change to customers as required, and follows all cash handling policies and procedures.• Calculate total payments received during a time period, and reconcile this with total sales.• Compute and record totals of transactions. Keep periodic balance sheets of amounts and numbers of transactions.• Issue coupons or promotional offers, and redeem from customer during availment.• Cleans and stocks work area and customer area. • Assists in locating, reconciling, and verifying the accuracy of transactions to avoid customer complaints preventing to a dispute. Resolve customer complaints.• Assist supply transfers and stocks between chiller, freezer, refrigerator and storage work areas by hand or cart.• Compile and maintain non-monetary reports and records.• Assists with a variety of kitchen-related functions as needed. • Receives inventory and maintains an accurate list of inventory in a daily basis, moves and lifts food and beverage products and supplies.• Stock shelves/crates, and mark prices on products and items as needed.• Maintain a solid knowledge of product and services available in store.• Ensures proper food & beverage handling procedures are followed including preparation, wrapping, labeling, dating, stocking, storing and assuring customers are served perfectly with the specific food or beverage of their expectation.• Cleans and sanitizes work station and equipments.• Maintain clean and orderly workplace and service area.• Answer customers' questions, and provide information on procedures or policies.• Post charges against customer related mishandling of store property and stock deposits.• Offer customers carry-out service at the completion of transactions.• Professionally self motivated and responsibly adhere to the rules and regulations of the store policy and other future amendments.• Performs all other responsibilities as directed by the business or as assigned by management.III. Job RequirementsQualifications include: • Demonstrates the ability to interact with the public and coworkers in a friendly, enthusiastic and outgoing manner. • The ability to maintain his/her position and to perform normal job functions. Separates work related concerns and personal/family problems.• The ability to speak, read and comprehend instructions, short correspondence and policy documents, as well as converse comfortably with customers. • Cash handling and customer service experience preferred. Honest and a team player.• At least female 18-25 years old. Preferably Single and work oriented. • At least college level or undergraduate of any related course with this job offer.• Willing to work in resto bar shift schedules (6:30PM to 2:00AM especially weekends).
