hi istoryans!

im planning to get a car for my growing family..im thinking of a kia picanto or a toyota vios..
for service lng to work and for family outing...

what do you think is the best car for city driving lng available in the market today in terms of quality and price?
pls post your opinion here...

imho, for general family use, the best pa gihapun ang innova 2.5 D4D G variant in terms of most "bang for the buck" considering every significant category i can think of right off the bat e.g. fuel consumption, power-to-weight ratio, seating capacity, quality of interior materials, exterior design, relative affordability, brand reputation for post-market services and parts availability, speed and acceleration (not that you're going to race it though), ride comfort, etc....

in the end, depends on the budget. between the vios and picanto, i'd get the vios. better car overall.

innova sad ang gamit sako auntie so i guess they made a wise decision. i once asked a company driver what car iya paliton if he has a choice considering its quality - and ang iya answer is innova pud.

SUV is good man! any brand. also go for diesel, cheaper consump.

innova ko katong diesel na 2.5 kay mao na amo family car sulit kaayo power,f/c,comfort,room etc.. pero wala man sa choices. so vios nalang. ekonomiya pud ang 1.3 vios.

TS, can you stretch your budget? For me impractical kaayu if mag outing ka using a vios or picanto.. Plus you also mentioned na growing family diba? I'd recommend Innova or Carens.. Both runs on common-rail diesel engines, both are practical and versatile and both brands offer good after-sales service.

But if you can stretch it more pa, go for SUV.. you can never go wrong with SUVs. So far, amu mga SUVs ni fit gyud sa amu needs..
