Connection Failed with SmartBro Power Plug-it ZTE MF 190

my friend has this unit. the ZTE MF 190 SmartBro Power Plug-it.
its new, still has the replacement warranty and it was still working a few days ago.

before the error occured:
he installed yahoo messenger.
he said he was browsing the internet and the internet connection was lost suddenly.
the said error did not occur right away after the program was installed. it occured hours after.

error message in the dash board:

"Cannot connect. Please try again later."

note: the dashboard displays full 4 bars of HSPA signal.

we tried the following:

1. reconfigure to manual: failed
2. reinstalled the dashboard and drivers: failed
3. ipconfig in the command prompt while running the dashboard: all media is disconnected

how to counter this problem? pls teach us how. thank you.
for those who had experience this before and fixed it, how did you do it?

naay light indicator imong plug-it? it's showing what color?
If red, try to unplug and plug it again
try to remove the sim and insert it again
try to use a different USB port

but as you were saying nga it displays 4 bars of HSPA signal , so basically the device is detected...
try to change the settings back to automatic and choose 3G only for the preferred mode..

problem solved. its embarassing to say, pero load ra diay to.
nakawatan sya ug maintaining balance. thats why nawala ang connection. hehe

na block na imong sim sir.. or either na hurot na imong load.. ana ra ka simple
