haven't seen it yet but cant wait to....from the awards and reviews, it is a must see. Aint bad watching Mr. Brangelina back on screen again!

"Dreamgirls" may have the most nominations, but "Babel" looks like the picture that's captured the mood and the imagination of Oscar voters this year.

The film picked up seven nominations, making it the favorite among best picture contenders. More than that, though, "Babel" represents the globe-trotting, border-crossing, multilingual spirit of this year's nominations.

Virtually half the nominees in the big acting, directing and writing categories are foreign-born, and two of the Yanks (Leonardo DiCaprio and Forest Whitaker) are nominated for playing Africans.

Babel is this years Crash. Overrated but will probably win lots of awards at the Oscars.

I wasn't equally inspired by "Crash" as compared with Babel. Although it is still a good drama..ang pagkaconnect2 sa iyang story not to dramatic and very climactic. And it's more rooted on the issue of racial discrimination which for me is so passé.

i got a pirated dvd copy of this, never had the chance to see. now i have all the reasons to see :mrgreen:
