workstation at dhcp mode.... u need dhcp server for this inorder to use wake on lan feature, best for you is to set on a static IP mode, all u nid is the IP address, subnet mask, and the mac address in order to use wake on lan,

generally, any remote access softwares would do.
not any remote application software would work. chances are, it wont. you need a "magic packet" for that to work. You need to send it a specific packet to a specifc port (UDP 9) for it to wake up. Fortunately you don't have to program yourself as there are some already available on the net. click here for an overview of how to setup your system for WOL and here for a sample application that could wake your computer thru internet.
