if branded thermal paste imong gamiton (preferred) mo range siya from 400-500 pesos. if CDR-king brand or gikan sa Fastwin mas cheaper siya.

Regarding sa procedure, basaha lang sa ubos boss ang step-by-step procedure, naa pod ko link from youtube para imong ma tan-aw visually unsaon. reminder lang boss, if wala kay knowledge completely, better ipa trabaho nalang ug computer tech to avoid damage sa imong board & processor.

    How to Reseat a Processor
    By Gabriel Dockery, eHow Contributor

Reseating a computer processor is the process of simply taking it out of the socket and placing it back in again. Reseating a computer processor is a step usually taken when the processor seems to not be functioning and you want to simply ensure everything is placed together correctly. Removing a computer processor is rather simple and requires very little skill or time on your part.

    Difficulty:
Moderately Easy (depends on your knowledge)

    Things You'll Need
    Screwdriver

    Instructions:
    • Disconnect your computer from any electrical sources.
    • Remove the side access panel from your computer's case. This may require removing two thumbscrews from the rear face of the computer.
    • Disconnect all power supply and data cables from the motherboard to allow for an easy removal.
    • Remove your motherboard from the case by unscrewing the mounting screws located on the motherboard. The location of the screws will vary depending on the form factor of your motherboard. Refer to your original manufacturer's documentation for exact mounting screw locations if you are unsure.
    • Place your motherboard directly in front of you with the PCIe and PCI slots on the left-hand side. These slots will be labeled clearly on the motherboard.
    • Examine the top portion of the motherboard for the processor socket. This socket will be a square interface and will be clearly identified on the motherboard.
    • Release the processor socket lever and open the hold-down plate if one is present. Sometimes a processor will have a hold-down lever that closes a hinged plate over the processor to hold it in place.
    • Remove the processor by lifting it straight up and away from the processor socket. Hold the processor by the edge during this process. Never touch anything other than the edges of the processor since scratching damage and finger oils and debris can damage the operation of the processor.
    • Examine the processor's underside and processor socket for any visible defects, such as bent pins.
    • Place the processor back in the socket, ensuring it is placed in the proper orientation.
    • Close the hold-down plate if present and engage the socket lever to secure it.
    • Remount your motherboard and reconnect all previously disconnected electrical and data cables.
    • Replace your computer's side access panel, and reestablish any electrical sources severed previously.
