No doubt, mas kusog tong E4700 basing by raw clocks alone.. Pareha ra na sila sa Pentium E5300..

I would precisely recommend E6300 - 1.86ghz, 1066fsb. The front side bus really matters to me since this is where the speed of your RAM to CPU data transfer (correct me if I'm wrong on this). If you take a look on your CPU performance (i.e. using the task manager), it is idle most of the time which means it does not do any work most of the time.

This is partially correct, provided the difference in total clocks is only marginal. In general computing, this is how they compare: C2D E7400 (2.80ghz, 1066fsb, 3mb) = Pentium E6600 (3.06ghz,1066fsb, 2mb) = Pentium E5800 (3.2ghz, 800fsb, 2mb). In gaming (with old core architecture), cache also plays a big role..

Correct me if I'm wrong pero if you're assembling a new computer, it's a bit counter productive to stick with a Core 2 Duo, since they are priced almost the same as newer processor like the i3, which can even outperform them. If you want to stick with the Core 2 technology go for the Pentium Dual Cores or second hand Core 2 Duo sa B&S section like katong mga e8400 na tah 3.5K ra.

If you have a motherboard that can support ddr2 1066MHz RAM, go for e6300... if ddr2 800 ra makaya, go for e4700... pero if brandnew na pagpalit ug apil MoBo bnew, palit nalang ug i3-2100...

d kau ko sweto gud pc...nahan ko mka pc nah,,ako budget 9k..nya ang problema ron d ko ka mao mo tanaw or mo testing,ky motor ako hilig..hehehe
