You are a model to us all Jeremy Lin!
It takes a lot more than a good few games to make a successful NBA player. As it is right now, the Knicks are coming off a 5 game win streak, but win streaks are as common as losing streaks. The Knicks are still under .500 and overall, Lin's numbers aren't stellar. How about we finish off the season and then see where the Knicks stand? I hope he does become a superstar, but an alpha male amongst sickly wolves doesn't mean anything. It is more likely that Kobe's quote meant what I have said at the beginning of this post ... that it takes a lot more than a good few games to make a successful player and even more to become a superstar.

In what league would 22.7 ppg, 6.8 assists, 3.8 rebounds, 1.7 steals per game average be not stellar?
Still too early. I say we end the season first.
Add a game-winning three-pointer to the list. 27 points, 11 assists, 12 points in the fourth period. Nuff said.
hope that he will still be consistent and will put up the same numbers and stats once
the stars come back from their injuries. its hard to put a good man down as the old adage goes, if the knocks will continue winning most games with lin on the drivers seat and will reach the play offs, eventually this will be a good storyline for most sports publicists . the jury is still out on this one...
@allday ... yes that would be great ... but those aren't his averages ... even for just this season.

Like I said ... a few games don't matter in the overall picture. NUFF SAID.
It goes without saying that he wasn't averaging more than 30 minutes per game beforehand. He was barely seeing the court when he was with the Warriors and even early on, with the Knicks. Hence, it reflects on his OVERALL average, but not in this seven-game stretch where he has simply been brilliant. Seven games, seven wins, what more can you ask for from an undrafted, Asian-American point guard?
