Pro - your engine will receive air from the outside which will help circulate the air inside your bay and flush out the accumulating hot air in your bay.

Cons - be sure that the hood scoop is installed/placed correctly on your hood...if done incorrectly...well..it'll scoop water also when it rains or rain will penetrate into the bay.

Ask for a demo product or look at a vehicle with the hood scoop installed by the shop that you'll choose for your project.

Thanks sa reply bro. My questions are:
    1. Dili pa ba enough ang air passing thru the radiator?
    2. Ma-functional ra ang scoop during high-speed right? Wala bay tendency nga tungod sa alternator fan nga ga-circulate ug air, air that's supposed to come thru the scoop will only be pushed outside instead of going inside?
    3. Can we be confident nga ang mga mu-trabaho ana diri sa Cebu really know how to do it? Like do they have knowledge enough or take into account air-flow principles instead of just putting it there for money?

Forgive me for my many questions mga bro. I just want to make sure nga functional gyud ang hood scoop because I might just end up with dust, debris, and water inside my engine compartment.

    Thanks!

Bro, all engines are designed to produce enough cooling air to circulate the engine bay. Most especially sa design sa fan to cool the radiator. Sa ako lang bro, hood scoops offer entry way for dirt, debris and water that may be hazardous sa imu engine and other parts of the engine. This would mean extra maintenance sa imu vehicle. Plus take into consideration sa more frequent changes and cleaning of your air filter. Hood scoops also enhance the overall noise produced by the engine.

Regarding the cool air coming inside, naa'y tendency nga mugawas ra sad na ang air from the outside instead of going in most especially sa ford everest kay dako kaayu ug fan.
