die hard PC Gamers, would you get one
The PC edition of Microsoft's magical space camera is officially on shelves. Formerly Xbox-exclusive, Kinect's now sworn allegiance to the Mother Platform for, er, the price of an Xbox. And while $249's an asking price so steep that not even a glitched Skyrim horse could climb it, Microsoft's angling this bundle toward developers who'll take Kinect "beyond the living room into other industries such as education, manufacturing, healthcare, and retail." It even includes a commercial license, so devs can make a few bucks off the fruits of their labor. Of course, I imagine more than a few game developers will put the tiny marvel through its paces as well. Even so, we're talking about the company that doesn't even have an individually branded webpage for PC gaming anymore. It's pretty obvious where Microsoft's priorities lie.
