Switchable Graphics drivers for laptop

Naa lang ko pangutana about ani..i have a Lenovo G470 with switchable graphics: Intel HD 3000 (internal gpu) Radeon HD 6370m (discrete gpu) nya ang problema nako is i can't find and install downloaded drivers from ATI. Naka update ko sa Intel HD na graphics pero naa man incompatibility with the Radeon graphics...naai paagi ani pag update nko sa duha na magkasinabot sila duha?

this is not an expert opinion instead mao ni akong sabot lang ani,

special ang drivers ani,you have to download from the manufacturers website.
Ang driver ani is specifically written for both Intel(power saving) and ATI(high performance).
downloading other drivers from ATI or Intel won't work kay ang drivers dili man written for that purpose.

don't take my word on it as i'm not an expert nor had similar problems
with my laptop on Intel hd 3000 and Nividia 540M with drivers downloaded from their respective websites.

Same ta ug problem bro sa ako laptop HP Pavillion dv3... What I usually do is to update my drivers not directly from ATI or INTEL, instead maghulat rako ug update sa manufacturer sa laptop, which in my case is HP. Ang probleman lang dugay kaayo mo update ang HP sa ila driver database.

I also tried updating directly from ATI... ang ako buhaton ako i-set ang ako display adapter sa akong video card na i-update. Kung magupdate ko sa ATI, ako i-switch ako display to ATI before ko mo update. Sometimes it works, sometimes not.

i was able to update the intel hd gpu..pero mao lagi ghapon..mangluod man dayon ang ati na gpu saying na dli daw sya compatible sa new driver sa intel..nya dli na dayon ko nya pagamiton sa switchable graphics na feature..pwede man intel ra akong gamiton pero sayang pd ang ati kng dli pd magamit.

sa case pd sa manufacturer's update i just hope ang mga tec ppl sa Lenovo muconvert nag gpu drivers for their products.

naa koi nasugatan na site na mo modify ug generic drivers that came from the ati site mismo and not from the manufacturer's site..ang style kai murag ilaron ang laptop na manufacturer's driver update..naa ang link sa ubos (first link)

sa ilang forum naa pd lain na option...modified na nga driver daan..pero kuti man gd to..nya nisuway ko wala pd ni work nya nadaot na hinoon akong default driver kai dli na mugawas ang switchable feature may gani nahilot pa sa system restore

lagi nkabasa btaw ko..had i known na ingon ani diay ang setup i wouldn't have chosen this brand sa laptop

nkasauway napd ko sa imong link kng unsaon pag circumvent pero no go ghapon..i hope naai similar model sa akoa na nkasuway ana na approach and succeeded kai bacn naa lng koi na overlook..pero nkat-on pd ko ani na experience pero maau unta na muhimo nag update ang lenovo kai mga early 2011 pman ilang mga drivers oi..ok ra unta kog maskn isa lng sa mga gpu ang ma update..lisod man diay..ngANong ingon ani manig style oi..dli parehas ug desktop na download lng kag bag-o then good na

I insisted and prodded my ATI gpu to accept the new drivers..pero ang nahitabo...nasuko nako! dli najd ko nya pagamiton sa switchable method na feature even if i did a few (not one like before) system restores..pero wla ghapon epek..so i sadly reformatted my laptop..hahai..hinoon dli man jd ko maayo sa computers pero i think i'll stop insisting on new drivers for a while until i find another way to update..hahaii..sayanga pd oi. i hope naai makahatag ug paagi..as for now..back to the ancient drivers nlang jd.
