    Hello TS good day! unsa d i set up nimo sir? unsa ka daghan sa computer sir? Usually gamet ka ug router if u want to share d internet connection. if file sharing lang pwede ra man switch or ingun ani nga set up sir...
    ISP modem ===> (1)router ===> 1 or many switches ===> workstations.
    (switch speed also matters)

    scenario 1:

    daghan pc with no internet (solid file sharing lang)

    pwede ra switch imo gamit ani na set-up, either 4port switch to 16 port.

    scenario 2:

    daghan pc nya imo sad e share ang internet connection, aw anha naka mag need ug router.

    sakto si battleneck sa iyang set-up.

    scenario 3:

    kung gamay raka ug pc maximum of 4 nya naa internet. aw pwede ra router na 4port imo palitun. wala nay switch.

    IMHO,

    some Network Switch are just, PLUG AND PLAY.
    while ROUTER can configure your network.

    Nindut ang setup ni battleneck.
    Usually, kanang router hatag sa mga ISP pwede na pang setup sa network.

    Pero nindut jud separate Router.

    if you have a dsl router (Most likely, our ISP will provide a small router), then you just buy hub/switch (4 to 8 port). If you don't have a router yet. You have to buy a router with 4 ethernet LAN port.

    Here's the router with 4 port. Cisco Linksys E1200
    I'm not sure if the WAN port of this model is rj11 or rj45. In philippines, likely, we use "rj11" pppoe/pppoa. And you have to ask your provider to provide the necessary configurations
