i think the D3100 supports autofocus with AF-S and AF-I CPU lenses (new gen lenses) only.

AF-I (internal motor), AF-S (silent wave motor) - dili diay ni new gen bai ang PCE diay..pasensya na bai d ko suhito ani mga lenses pero mo AF man sya sa ako D80..
