SSD vs. Hybrid HDD (Momentus XT)

Guys,

I'm planning to get a new drive, but I'm confused on what to get. my primary use for the PC is just surfing and gaming. But I do plan to improve the speed of the system and stability. In terms of multi-tasking (opening up different programs at the same time), is the SSD marginally faster than the Hybrid HDD?

dako ba jud ug difference and SSD vs HDD in real world applications? What about the Momentus XP (Hybrid HDD)? Would you recommend it?

The usual programs I run aside from games are Dreamweaver and Photoshop.

Phenom II X4 B40
2 x 2gb Team Elite DDR3-1333 MHz
1gb GTX 460
OCZ ModXstream 500W Pro

nothing beats an ssd in terms of access time pero sa read/write speeds the hybrid XT is as fast as the first gen ssds. If your need for performance is greater than your need for storage then go for an ssd. If you want both then hybrid xt will fit your needs.

pero tinuod nga faster ug write and read ang ssd pero what mn sd gamit if gamay ra kaau kag mabutang ehehe just my insight

lagi.. mahal jud ang SSD pre.. dili mag silbe ui..

I was leaning towards hybrid unta for boot and apps purposes. games will the installed in the HDD lng jpn. pero mao lagi na, for my use, i don't think naay dako na difference. na curious lng ko since almost similarly priced na hybrid hdd ug regular hdds kron.

@TS : boss if your not a speed junkie ay lng pg ssd, youll hardly notice hehe, kanang hybrid alternative jd na.. nice pd products sa seagate..
