USA Airport Security Laptop Check

I heard na inspectionon ang laptops sa US airport..
Ang Operating System ra ba ila tan.awon if genuine ba or di?
or Apilon pud imu files og tan.aw asta ang mga naka installed na softwares if pirated ba or di.

Please enlighten me.

sa ako mga na experience bro ila raman ipa switch on kadali imong laptop then ipa off rasad dayon... wa gi check kung unsay OS kay kutob raman sa BIOS ang boot up... maybe they just want to check kung tinuod ba gyud na nga laptop imong gida or basin bomba na... hehe

katong bag-o pa ang 9/11 stricto kaau
pero karon, dili naman
ipa-segregate lang jud nila imong laptop to a different tray before ipa-agi sa x-ray

wa lgi ko kasuway ani? when ni? last nkong larga kay last summer.. igo ra man ipatangtang sa bag nya ibutang sa tray..

Uhmmm, follow up question lang, if ever inspectionon, like ang mga mp3 files.. bargohon ba na ang lappy if peke ang mga mp3 files?

In my experience last 2010, I only had to turn on the laptop at least twice.. in our own NAIA, and in the Las Vegas airport. And no, they never inspected my laptop for pirated files/warez (even though there were *some* files). I had a netbook, iPod Touch (mp3s abound here), cellphone, and tons of chargers and cables.. never had a problem with airport security.

Just don't act suspicious.
