naa koy existing 2gb ddr3 ram sa akung mobo, unya plan nako mopalit ug 4gb ddr3 and place it to other slot...

thus that mean ill be having a 6gb unya sa akung memory if i do so? or basin mgconflict na nuon akung duha ka ram....

dapat same frequency ...kay f dli mo downgrade na ang usa bro... unya kadugayan ma guba...

and i dont know about the timings...ok raman tingale f lahi2 ug timings...

di gyud na advisable ang unidentical RAMS bro, better copy the existing RAM the result would be 2X2GB or replace it with 2 identical 4GB RAMs (2X4GB) timings and memory frequencies should be the same or else naa gyud kay memory issues in the future...so if above 4GB na imong set-up kinahanlan na sad ug 64 bit imong OS or else you`ll be stuck to 3.25 GB sa 32 bit OS maski 16GB pa imong ibutang...

in theory Yes, lesser ang HDD activity kung dako2x imong RAM,

OT: unsa di-ay OS gamit nimo bro? 32bit? 64 bit?
