To our community, we are once again faced with one of the worst tragedies that could ever befall in our land and we would like to invoke our call for unity and charity. CDO and Iligan are in dire need of whatever we can extend as help and I know that in the spirit of Christmas, we can extend our hands to them!

iSTORYA.NET activates "OPERATION SENDONG" and we would like to knock on your kind hearts to afford just about anything for the families who have lost their homes, loved ones and means of living. This drive will run from December 19, 2011 to December 31, 2011. We would like to encourage all to donate canned goods, food products, used clothing, cash, toys, etc. You may drop your donations in iSTORYA.NET office located at Rm. 201 MIT Building, Gorordo Ave. Lahug Cebu City (Beside Jollibee J.Y. Square) starting Tuesday, December 20, 2011 from 6 AM to 5 PM look for Melvin.

Please note also that our first shipment of donations will be on Wednesday, December 21, 2011 so please make sure that we drop our donations on Tuesday.

We would really appreciate anything that you can extend for our brothers and sisters in Iligan and CDO. Thank you guys and Merry Christmas.

maau unta palandungon kong matabangan pod sa taga istorya among higala didto (maskin ug gamay lang nga tabang) nga namatay sa pag tabang ug rescue sa ilang mga silingan nga bata, as in washed out jud sila (Tambo), sanina, pagkaun, wala... gahapon ang update wala pa na balsamar ky walang² jud sila, wa pai nka assist. looy kaau iyang nabiyaan nga asawa ug anak (1 yr. old)

gikan nasad mi didto... we went to tambo and hinaplanon nanghatag goods (rice, canned goods, water, noodles) and used clothings... apart from that nagfeeding sad mi... the scenes of the aftermath are heart-wrenching but doing our part in helping the needy ones are overwhelming especially when you see their smiles even if they have nothing left in their possession...

we are also planning to do a medical mission... we are just waiting for the confirmation from our beloved doctors whom we coordinated with...
