Tabang guys.. Registry File Failure

Hello istoryans.. I need help.. kay akong laptop dli magamit.. inig turn on nko sa iya magawas ang black nga screen.. naay options na

- Safe mode
- safe mode with networking
- safe mode with churvaness ( katong duha rah na remember ko )
or
- start windows normally..

Pero nothing works bsag unsa akong iclick it will all lead to a blue screen with this error:

STOP: C0000218 {Registry File Failure} The registry cannot load the hive (file):\System Root\System32\Config\SECURITY or its log or alternate. It is corrupt, absent, or not writable.

Last thing that happened was, my hubby ( also a computer illiterate ) was shutting down the computer when the power suddenly went out. So murag wala gne nahuman ang pag shut down sa laptop pag off sa iyaha.. then pag balik sa koryente mao nah nih nahitabo.. Nag try ko search online kung unsay buhaton kaso na nose bleed ko ug wala koy CD installer kay hand me down lang ang laptop.

Please..please help.. any insight is highly appreciated from the bottom of my corazon.. Thanks!

TS, Win XP bana OS sa lappy ? mura kinahanglan jud ka sa installer ani. refer sa KB 307545 sa microsoft.com

oo boss.. XP ang OS. mao jud akong problema kay wala nah ang CD. ireinstall rah jud kaha nih? or naa pay underlying nga prob?

e reformat nlang na brad....try day restart nya f8 mugana ba..

murag there are no other options TS, fix it via Win XP installer nya refer lang sa previous post nako link na siya sa steps sa pagfix ana nga issue.

Pero try lang panglast, sa gi-ingon pa ni ryan101, F8 then:

1. Select "Startup Repair"
(if this fails, then...)

2. F8 napud nya select "Last Known Good Configuration"

Better yet you can also go to sa Software section sa istorya nya adto sa Windows nga forum

kung maka sulod sa safe mode then try b1 huck's suggestion. (System Restore).

kana nlang gyud, system restore if mka sud ka sa safemode or last known good. if naa ka disc so naa pa chance, but if wala ka important files, diretso reinstall nlang.
