IOS 5.0.1 Bad or Good ? Your Thoughts

Folks,

I've read a lot about this fast update apple has placed several weeks after the 4S came out , a big issue is the battery problem people were complaining about in the Iphone 4S , apple claims this update would fix it although there is still a big list of apple 4s users that claim its not working , in fact some claim has spread the issue to other parts.

I've held off the update and wanted to find out if anyone has tried it , probably give a good analysis to update. Since most of us have chargers in car and home I don't really feel a big crunch in battery drain but thought of asking people about update just the same.

-you can lose 2% of battery life just by oppening safari.. (hitabo gyud ni nko)

-same ang battery drain sa 5.0

-lose 30% to 40% battery in 2 hours

-naay problem with some apps

-naa daw problem sa iMessage (di pa confirmed)


-the list goes on and on bro..

advice lng nko imo.. stick to ios 4 kung nag jailbreak ka.. or kung unlock na imo phone nya wa kay problem.. go straight to 5.1.. kay mas better daw gamay.. I´m still trying to confirm it..

recently updated my iPad2 WiFi only to iOS 5.0.1

my observations compared to iOW 4.3.5:

1. Weaker/Slower WiFi reception/speed (no disconnections though)
2. New features e.g., iMessage, four/five finger gesture to view previously opened apps etc.
3. Not experiencing battery issues (battery life is two days with gaming, net surfing etc.)

rlcrl is right. Also, I notice when I open multiple tab using safari the internet stops working and it gives me an error msg "unable to connect". I have to disable and enable the wireless to get it working again. I guess this was a known issue on iOs 5.0.1.
