check this out... if this is true, then R600 is worth the wait...

Those numbers are clearly fake, all testers of the R600 are still in NDA.. no amount of anonymity can hide them or cover them.. ATi would just simply blacklist all of the current testers if theres a single leak.
NDA's are meant to be broken............
Then thats the last time they would get the card from ATiOriginally Posted by dagget
the R600 maybe AMD ATI's last card.......
you want a glimpse of R600? I think the one on the 360 (or was it PS3 dunno) is a "toned down version" of it's capacity.
this is the line --------- cross it. i dare you
unsai systme requirements sa both gfx cards?
i think for 8800GTX u need atleast 750 watts power supply,.... and if u want the REAL power 8800GTX right now u need to have a "Core 2 Extreme"Originally Posted by Mr. Fernandez
they did a test on 2 AMD Athlon 64 FX-74 on a dual CPU mobo (AMD's quad-core as of the moment) and Intel Core 2 Extreme QX6700 / Intel Core 2 Extreme X6800 and in most cases X6800 and QX6700 would come in 1st and 2nd place,....
but when Windows Vista Ultimate Edition comes out,.... they said Quad FX has a better scalability w/c would favor AMD coz it will be smarter when it comes to multi-threading and multi-tasking.

in tomshardware.com they said "GeForce 8800 Needs The Fastest CPU"
i think you are referring to the DX10 card inside the xbox 360 console...Originally Posted by Zerone_null

No you DONT need the Extreme Edition, even a lowly E6300 is more than enough for the 8800GTX, the PSU requirements is over rated, the 8800gtx only consumes 7watts more on load as compared to a X1900XTX on a non overclocked system with 1 harddrive and 1 optical drive a branded 550~600watts is more then enough.
Do take note that the gains on 3dmark is from the CPU test, hence showing the difference of even 3~4k in scores.[br]Posted on: January 02, 2007, 12:13:57 PM_________________________________________________Says here that the 360 cant do DX10.Originally Posted by fish
