Default Team Group Intros X101 Mid-Range USB 3.0 Flash Drive

Team Group Intros X101 Mid-Range USB 3.0 Flash Drive by VR-Zone.com

Memory maker Team Group rolled out a revised version of the X101, a mid-range USB 3.0 flash drive. The X101 was first launched in May 2010, but back then despite its lower transfer rates, it was deemed a high-end offering. The new, redesigned X101 is available in capacities of 32 GB and 64 GB. It offers transfer rates of up to 120 MB/s (read) and up to 70 MB/s (write), which makes is roughly as fast as a 7,200 RPM internal hard drive, only a lot more responsive due to much lower access times.

The new X101 doesn't fare badly in the design department, either. Measuring 72.07 x 19.11 x 8.53 mm, the X101 sports a typical capped form-factor, with a satin-purple aluminum-alloy body. Its body lacks activity/power LEDs, but there's provision for attaching a lanyard. The X101 doesn't come with any notable bundled software, but the manufacturer mentions that it supports a power-saving mode. As with most USB 3.0 flash drives, the X101 is backwards-compatible with USB 2.0.

Backed by a lifetime warranty, the X101 is rated by its manufacturer to hold data up to 10 years. Unfortunately we don't have a price at hand.
