Before when I was a kid, I really enjoyed collecting NBA cards. 10-15 years ago grabe dyud sa uso. Di ko mu kaun para mka palit ug NBA cards. If mu balik naa mu baligya. Musakay mu sa USO?

basin mas mu mahal na na bro...ako kay nag collect mn pd ko sa una, naa man gani ghapon nko ang album sa ako paborito nga player...hehehe di nako malabay or mabaligya; i consider it a piece of my childhood...sayang pd i-let go kay ni invest baya pd ko ani...

Sa una man gud, NBA cards were not just mere collections. Didto pud ta mangita ug INFO regarding our favorite players from height, weight, birthdate, college, stats, trivia, etc. Moadto gud kog SM sa una dili lang para makig trade ug cards, but also player infos..Hehe And maki-gamit pud ug Beckett para check sa card prices.

But with the advent of internet, sayon nalang kaayo mangitag info. Didto pud nisugod hinay ang card collection. Sa ako rapud ng nabantayan ha..

Too bad I gave away everything I had. But most of them, especially the "rare" ones are in good hands, gi-alagaan ug maayo sa among silingan hantod karon.

I still collect NBA cards and the main culprit behind the decline of the hobby is the 1999 lockout. Fans and collectors lost interest in the NBA, similar to what's happening now.

Another possible reason is the price of the cards. Mahal na ang cards ron.

Naa pa koy rookie cards ni Steve Nash bro pero mga common card ra, last time I checked kay murag tag 3 pesos ra hehehe

Sayang ako collection from 1996-2000. Mao to nga year na draft si Kobe so daghan ko atog rookie cards sa ilang batch like Iverson, Marbury, Nash, Camby, Allen, etc. Gibaligya nakog 2k ang whole album nako, gi installment sa nakapalit unya 500 ra ako nadawat.

siguro na-obsessed lang jud kog NBA cards kay love man gihapon ni nako na hobby (1994 ko nagstart palit sa White Gold). pagkawala atong tindahan ug NBA cards sa SM napapas jud ang NBA card mania ato diri sa Cebu (if i remember it ryt didto nihinay kadto pag 1999 lockout sa NBA kay wala pa man giproduce dayon ang mga cards ato for the upcoming season).
