It's been a long time since I stopped PC gaming and shifted to console. Mas mahal man gud ang PC compared to console nga one time ra paliton and probably would last at least 5 years. Though present console is still great but I think it can be easily beaten by a good PC setup today. Since there's no plan for microsoft or sony to release a new console, I'm planning to build a good gaming PC that would at least last for 5 years..that is if it is possible..Problem is I'm not all too familiar with PC hardwares. That's why I'm asking for any suggestions from the masters...I hope you would give me some inputs
Anyway I checked the buyqube.com site and tried to build my own setup, here it is:
Processor: Intel® Core 2 Quad i7-2600K (3.40G) 1333fsb 8mb C2Q (Socket 1155) ---
of should i go with AMD?
Motherboard:Foxconn H61MX Intel® H61 Chipset (Socket 1155) Core i3, i5 and i7 Support
---though naa mas mahal but I chose this much cheaper one coz I think motherboard will have no effect on performance, sakto ba?
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 7 Starter (OEM)
--I'm not sure if OS has any effect on the performance also
Graphic Display: Zotac 1024MB nVidia GeForce GTX560 Ti 2DVI-HDMI DDR5 256bit ---
GTX580 is available but double the price, if the performance has a very minimal difference then I would stick on this one
Memory: 8GB DDR3 1333MHz Memory w/ Lifetime Warranty (2x4GB)
Hard Drive: Western Digital 2TB Caviar Green 64MB Hard Drive SATA3 (Faster than SATA2)

-is the PSU all that important? should I stay with the stock or upgrade?
Suggestions and help will greatly be appreciated
Thank you
