Do Egg trays help soundproofing?

Does a normal carton egg tray work? Because I am planning to cover my walls with egg trays... I play drums and guitar.... The room's wall by the way is half cement and half wood I mean in the right corner is wood and the left corner of my room is cement... And do I need to cover all my walls with egg trays? Literally all as in cover all walls? I hope you can help me guys...


Nag plano ko nga ako pilitan og egg tray and tanan bong2x sa akong kwarto... Maka tabang ba kaha ang egg tray para soundproof? And kailangan jud piliton tanan bong2x which is literally covered jud tanan walls? Thanks?


By the way naa diay windows ako kwarto... What will I do? Padayun gihapon ko sa eggtrays? Basig di mu work, mau gihapon? hahaha
