Mac book pro cracked screen replacement?

ok, I'm a prize idiot.

my mbp flew from the backseat after hitting the breaks which resulted to a cracked screen. I know that voids the warranty... but I've googled about it and apparently, one can replace the glass overlay?

was wondering if anyone does that here in cebu cause the apple store doesn't do it.

you need to replace the whole LCD panel for cracked/broken screen...

so far si daryo ra jud makatabang nimo ana ngari... aside from apple suport.. which expected to be super mahal. ehehe

apple will not replace your lcd they will replace the whole pc to a customer that had the another problem so you are paying for a refurbished tikas style na laptop good job apple

so far, daryo hasn't responded to my inquiries. i'll wait.

anyhoo... yeah, apple kinda sucks. i'm well aware that my case voids the warranty... even if i purchased apple care when i got my unit. but their price is just ridiculous. i could buy a macbook air with it.

hopefully daryo replies soon...so i can weigh whether to have my unit replaced, or i'm better off purchasing a new one.

lol make sure its not apple
