DAko ba ug deperensya ang Yaw-Yan ug MuayThai?
yup, muay thai is ancient, yaw yan is a couple of decades old.
mao ba..mura raman gud ug pareha ra ila style...
K-1 MAX's current champion is Buakaw Por Pramuk from Thailand, most successful k-1 fighters have backgrounds in muay thai. I've seen Muay Thai in Lumpini Stadium in Bangkok and it gets pretty brutal.
Real muay thai fighters that get to fight at the big stadiums have been training since they were really young kids.
No disrespect to Yaw Yan guys, i actually trained grappling with a few last summer @ the Doce Pares gym and they're pretty good guys, but considering the fact that Muay Thai is stand up fighting's most dominant style, I'm pretty sure an average Muay Thai fighter can take on an average Yaw Yan fighter.
ang style sa yawyan and muay thai is very similar di ba? so murag patas lang na sila?
ganahan ko ug muay thai since i saw ong bak, though di to applicable in real fights, lain na pud to nga stunts compared to other martial arts films
pro dependi naman na sa mag dala hihihih
yup! ong bak..muay thai to ug taekwondo gi salgul ang duha ka style....

Tony Jaa is an acrobat, he only studied muay thai for a couple of years. He studied the more traditional way of Muay Thai with the use of jumping elbows to the head and stuff, can't use that stuff in real life because it's too hard to pull off, as opposed to the more practical competition muay thai training which is what the real fighters use.
