Thanks........
Asa gibutang ang inyo server ts?
unsy specs ug os?
server sa unsa mana?
intel xeon 3.0/1/800
2gig ram
windows server 2003..
4 HDD raid array (SCSI)
how to make the HD online? kinsa kabalo dha?
PSU ra ta to gibaylo first
then order spare for the dead server with dead mobo and dead psu
hopefully, ur raid controller can still reconstruct the RAID system with the new mobo..
i cant remember anymore, gi unsa to nako pag repair ang OS sa DIY filesrver sa opis b4.
i just did use the server 2003 a few times, i can t remember anymore if bootable ba ang CD ato..
kay if bootable..daug na..
it installs like xp sp3, where in after u install the driver for you raid ( press F6 if u will install driver for ur raid blah.blah < this is why i asked if ur RAID controller saved the last RAID parity it was set
it didnt saved obviously. if it did, it should have detected the HDD's. important accounting files and system files naa ani na server, thats why mobo ang amo gibaylo. puede kaha installan lang ni ug scsi raid driver? na dili mahilabtan ang tanang files na naa sa system? that it will just run just like before? if anyone can fix this contact me at this number 09273498096..
Di mana pwede e swap ang mobo boss kay imung hdd loyal na sa usa ka mobo. Even though pareha rag model ang mobo maka distinguish gihapon na ang hdd. IF you want your files. Swap the good power supply to the server with bad power supply. E transfer sad ang hdd sa working server para makuha nimu ang files
if powersupply ra bro.inig human ug ilis sa PSU, the Server shud comeback to life as if it had just had a nap.
the OS is still intact along with its setting for the RAID ( 5? )..
then..( i'm hoping ), the 2nd server have the same hardware specs as the other one.
then boot up without a hitch
with XP , pwede ra kaayo na mobo swapping bro..even with server 2003, that in my experience with a server with a single drive ( non raid ).
even with win7..
and astonishingly on XP and Server 2003 with AMD powered CPU with nvidia mobos.even with different brands basta same MCP models..no need to repair the OS to marry it with the mobo.but its nonRAID
First , you should have swapped only the PSu instead of mobo.. simpler and quicker... something wrong with the raid controller...ibalik tanan sa orig.. then try swapping the PSU lang..
