It's said the devil is in the details, but for Powercolor, it's all about the bundle and firery red design. We're talking about Powercolor's new Devil 13 HD6970 graphics card. This Devil edition card tries to tempt enthusiasts and overclockers with an aggressive heatsink design, high end components, and a bundled screwdriver toolkit.
The card comes clocked at 880MHz, though with the flip of an overclocking switch, the GPU is cranked up to 960MHz. It overclocks the memory too, which runs at 1375MHz by default and 1425MHz when overclocked. Other specs include 2GB of GDDR5 memory, a 256-bit memory bus, Eyefinity support, and all the latest technologies (DirectX 11, CrossFireX, etc.).
Powercolor says its Devil edition card sports solid components, including things like a 12-phase design, direct FET, and high current power beat and proadlizer for improved stability and steady voltage. If you're serious about tweaking, the card even includes voltage memory points so you can measure and monitor the GPU volts with your multimeter.
To keep the Devil edition card from running hot as hell, cooling duties are handled by two 92mm cooling fans Powercolor claims provide 60 percent better airflow than standard 80mm fans. It also benefits from 4x8 heatpipes.
Powercolor neglected to name a price or release date, so it's anyone's guess if you'd have to sell your soul or go to hell to get one of these...
