How to enable IPV6 in windows 7 ultimate

Kinsa kahibaw sa inyo kung unsaon pag enable sa IPV6 in a Windows 7 Ultimate operating system? Maskin unsaon man gud nko og chech sa IPV6 sa Adapter properties d man dyod mo work. D pud ko ka create/join og workgroup tungod ani.

Why IPV6 imong gamiton? Wala na diay bakante IPV4 sa imo network nga kinahanglan naman kag IPV6? Unsa diay buot nimo buhaton unta?

Wa koy problema about IPV4. its working perfectly fine. gusto ko i enable ako IPV6 aron maka create or join ko of workgroup (as what i've mentioned above). Requirement man ang working IPV6 for workgroup.

if dili cya ma configure sa tcp/ip properties.. i diritso nlng sa registry.. backup your registry first just in case..

then go here..

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\servic es\TCPIP6\Parameters
"Disabled Components" set it to 0 (zero)

IPv6 is enabled in W7 by default.

I don't understand why you need ipv6 to join a workgroup. Well maybe if the workgroup you are joining is using ipv6 exclusively but if they're using ipv4, no need to use ipv6.

Be warned of the possible complications of using ipv4 and ipv6 though as I've experienced in different situations. It is fine to use both but in some situations, it screws everything up. It's always a good idea to disable one where its not used.

QFT jud kaayo ni, kato bago ko format sa netbook sa akong sister I forgot to disable V6 nalibog ko ngano maka kita and access kos kiyang PC but dli siya maka access sa router nor sa akong PC, not even an internet connection.. gi disable lang nako ang V6 ni ok na.. grabi ka weirdo nga problema.

as far as i know IPV6 will be used in the future...better to make sure that we have idea on how to do TS on this.

It works! But IPV6 will not be put to use until there is an internet connection compatible with it.
