most of the time, criers just want someone who listens and does not contradict. If they said something wrong, ayaw sa kontrahi kay theyre still on the verge of extreme emotions.
empathize, if they have been complaining about somebody who really has done something wrong, panig sa crier... e.g. "Hala ui, di maau iyang gibuhat! After what u did he'd just let you Blah blah blah blah......
most of the time, they're the ones whod do most talking and wants to be listened to... not the other way around...
