Facebook Relationship Status! Private? Or Not?

If Not => WHY?

In my case, Im the dude. Mine's not private.
But my sweetheart's relationship status is private. lol. And i dont know why.
(Im not gonna ask her cuz im gonna respect it that way tho).
What do you think is the reason if your in her shoes?

Okay 2 possible resulting scenarios here.

-When set to private, people who are interested in You will try to reach you, via private message, Post on wall ETC.
- When set to public view, what could really happen?

Private to some other friends- but kapoi man customize so private na alng sa tanan. Reason naa man gud daghan chismosa.. daghan pangutana ug comment..
